Lawson Scientific Ltd has relocated to dedicated laboratory facilities in the Claro Court Business Centre in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, U.K. The specialist facilities enable Lawson Scientific Ltd to continue to provide particle and materials characterization services, research & development, and products to companies primarily located in the UK and the EU and covering all manufacturing sectors.

Using state-of-the-art characterisation tools Lawson Scientific can fully characterise the physical properties of materials in terms of their particle size distributions, particle shape (electron microscopy), BET specific surface area, density, X-ray diffraction and thermal properties.

Company Founder, Dr Simon Lawson, said, “I am delighted to establish a laboratory in the Claro Court Business Centre in Harrogate. I chose Claro Court as my base as it provides me with the flexibility to expand and grow the business in a controlled way. I am already looking to develop a second laboratory as demand for our specialist skills and expertise grows.”

Yorkshire, and Harrogate in particular is rapidly becoming the home of top class professional cycle racing with the Tour de France Grand Depart in 2014, the annual Tour de Yorkshire, and the World Championships in town in 2019. I hope that soon it will also be the known as the home for Particle Technology in the UK!”
